Ended up opening pressies last night/this morning (was after midnight), mum came in to see if I was awake (which I was) so thought that I may as wel.

Got the usual slippers (including some travelling slippers that fold in half), some bath stuff, candles, a new mouse & USB ports for my PC, Little Britain DVD, Bryan Adams Anthology CD and the new Green Day Live CD/DVD :) I'm well chuffed with them :D

Today is kinda back to it, got work at 1pm (so glad I booked this morning off as I don't think I'd have made it in). Ah well, 2½ days this week, 2 days next week ... bliss! Got The Almighty & Ricky next weekend, that can't come around quick enough I can tell ya.

Oooh, and before I forget a warning to all ... DON'T USE MEGABUS FOR TRAVELLING UNLESS YOU ONLY HAVE HANDLUGGAGE!! I sware I've never see such chaos when loading and unloading luggage in my life. Yesterday there were 2 women who were saying to the bloke getting the bags "I want my bag, it's that one there" (which was under about 4 other bags), one of them even tried to take mine!! She said to the bloke "ooh, that bag's mine, the blue one", so I turned round and corrected her that it was mine and the bag was green! Some people huh! The guy actually dragging the bags out got really pissed at them both and kept telling them over and over again that he only had 1 pair of hands. I nearly swiped at them myself.

This morning I wasn't great to say the least, not only pissed off about the boiler and having to cancel on Martin (which has now been re-arranged for a couple of weeks time) but my head was going all skewie on me (which was what I was afraid of).

Best of it is, it was over stupid trivial things that were really quite pathetic. But things happen I guess :)

Anyways, got a majority of the Christmas pressies bought. Dad's and Sarah P's need to be ordered online as I couldn't see them ANYWHERE in Burnley (probably cos Burnley can be quite shite for stuff). As for Jim, his parents and Steve ... no idea what to get them!! Jim I've got a few ideas but neither of us know what he has and hasn't got (nevermind the memory loss ... if anyone could see his round they'd know what I mean!). Steve will give me an idea when I write to him (which I MUST get done tomorrow ... I'm such a slacker at times). Jim's parents I do have an idea, but it's a case of finding something small that I can take with me. Prft ... oh well ... will get the last 3 either online or when I'm in Bradford.

Yes folks ... you'd read the subject correctly! Today I've received my first christmas card!

If I ever thought this woman I write too had lost the plot .. now is the time to face it!
