Today has been good and actually feel as though I've DONE something too!!

My parents room is now spick and span ... they went on holiday this morning and I'm planning on sleeping in there when Jim is here, no way was I sleeping in there the state it was!!

Also got my room cleaned up and the bathroom done too. Now all that's left to do this week is downstairs. That's going to be interesting considering I'm working til 7pm through til Thursday and have had very little energy to do anything this past week. Prft ... I'm sure I'll find some from somewhere.

All the ironing is done and most of my washing is done too, which was the main thing I wanted to get done too.

Spoke to Sarah G and Jim earlier too ... good to have catch up's.

A couple of different views this week about the happenings in London ... been interesting to read too. Can see all points of view that I've read, and also respect peoples views. Hell, if we all thought the same the world would be VERY boring indeed.

Am really looking forward to Friday for so many reasons ... for those of you who've been struggling to keep up Jim is coming up (fingers crossed). It's gonna be soooo good to spend some time with him. Although it's only been about 2 months it feels so much longer then that.

Anyways, guess I'd better grab a shower before bed!

My Diabetic appointment went well this morning! Blood pressure is good, weight is coming down and I've not shrunk in height! LOL I asked about my aching legs too ... she said it's likely to be weather related as I get it every summer, but if it does happen again and get worse then she said it could do with looking into futher. She did the usual circulation tests on my feet and that was fine too. Got to call the surgery next Thursday or Friday for my blood results and I've also got too get a urine sample done and dropped in (I keep forgetting to take that in when I go and see her!!).

I'm comtemplating asking if they want me in on overtime on Saturday morning ... think I'll ask about that when I start on it tonight. I don't really want to add hours onto tomorrow night as I'd like at least 1 5pm finish this week, but I can spare 4 hours on Saturday. Means it keeps my mind occupied for some time over the weekend.

Sunday ... that'll be cleaning day for sure! My parents go on holiday Sunday morning so it means I can tackle their bedroom ... get it cleaned as I'll be sleeping in there for some of their break (if not all of it) and it's in a pretty sorry state :-s The bathroom needs doing desperately ... I figured that if I can get 90% if the cleaning done on Sunday then I won't need to get that much done Monday to Thursday before Jim arrives on Friday.

Ahh, next Friday! 8 more sleeps :) I'm trying NOT to get too excited but I can't help it at all. Keep having to calm myself down .... but after saying that we're as bad as each other :p

My part of the cottage for Whitby has been paid for! Just got payments to get from Ed, Steph and Kate now :p Then I can start to get excited!! For anyone wanting to see where I'm staying .. log onto http://www.cottages4you.co.uk and my property reference is IKU! EEEEK! How posh is that!!

Oooh, and someone in the office has made a f**k up too!! 23 of them are off to the Fanny Gray (local pub) for lunch tomorrow .. either us or them have cocked up as the order has been made for TODAY!! Am kinda glad I'm not going if it's from this end ... but would love to be a fly on the wall.
