I'd deceided this time around that I's skip the Jovi tour, mainly because I was disappointed when I last saw them a few years back in Hyde Park.

BUT after this I'm soooooooo tempted ... the problem being the ticket prices!! I can't afford to get tickets for any other gigs then Aerosmith and Leppard - they've been put on priority this year, with Bryan following very closly behind.

Well, I'm back .. it was an exhausting but brilliant weekend :) Not quite sure where to start but I hope I get everything in!

So all in all it was a wicked weekend, one that I'd love to do again.

Just found out that Take That had announced 3 stadium (yes, STADIUM) dates for next June.

Now, there's very few artists in my eyes that can pull off a stadium concert and I don't think they will be one of them. Yes, you are reading this right. Hell, I love Aerosmith and I don't think they can pull off a stadium show (last time I saw them was at Wembley Stadium). I saw Five at Hyde Park one year and they couldn't pull off an outdoor show (even though the audience was about the size of an arena). I think they may have bitten off more then they can chew by doing it.

I could be wrong, and I hope that for those who buy tickets to go aren't disappointed.

City Of Manchester Stadium - June 17th
Cardiff Millennium Stadium - June 21st
Wembley Stadium - June 24th

Tickets are 35 each and go on sale THIS FRIDAY at 9am

We're up in the gods for the second Take That date we're going too! Block 215 - though it is right next to the stage. We're row M, which is about 13 rows up.

This could be a problem ... MEN Arena has quite a steep upper teir and both me and Dawn aren't exactly brilliant on that teir. The good thing is that we aren't THAT far up .. was almost at the top when I went there to see TT before.

Plus we have fab seats for the 4th so it's gonna be a case of all photo oppourtunities on that one.

We're in ... that's the main thing!

I think if there was ever a good way to start the New Year then THIS is it!!

The Almighty on January 6th and Ricky Warwick on January 7th! Just booked tickets for Nottingham's show and I can't wait.

I'm actually buying Dawn her ticket as a thank you for the stress over getting the TT tickets (from what I've heard from several people ... that wasn't fun). I was gonna buy her something anyways and I know that this is something she'd appreciate more then anything else I could think of.

Oh great!! Ricky Warwick is going on tour ... straight after The Almighty dates!!

He's in Nottingham the day after the London date so think I'll ask Dawn if she wants to go there instead of staying on London on the Saturday night. The tickets are cheap enough at only £7.35 each, and is loads cheaper then forking out for a West End show (plus it means a double dose of Ricky in one weekend!!).

Wonder if we can get a cheap travel inn or something??

The tickets are dead cheap and it looks as though we can get a pretty cheap hotel too (which is even better!!).

Ahh ... seeing Ricky twice in 2 nights ... what more can a girl ask for :p

If I've read it correctly ... we're 8th row from the front for Take That on May 4th!

OK, this rumour has done it's rounds so many times over the pasy 8½ years that I'm pretty sick of it now. BUT apparently this one is true. Apparently there's going to be a press conference about it on Friday.

So the question on everyones lips is "Faye, are you going?" and I will say the same on here as I'll say to everyone who's gonna ask me!

I'll buy my ticket and decide nearer the time. If I don't buy one then I'll wish I had when the time comes. If I buy one and decide I don't want to go ... that's where eBay comes in and I'm pretty sure I'd make quite a healthy profit from it too.

Now, I did say to Char that if they did a gig with Mark in December on his tour that I'd streak around Earby!! Thank god I didn't say anything about them getting together to do a tour! LOL

Hmm ... think I may have another gig before the year is out (depending on money that is).

OK, last night was probably the BEST Ches gig I've EVER been too!! OMG, I really don't know where to start!! Sorry I can't cut this but I'm not at home so don't know the code or anything.

We got to Walkabout for about 8.20 and met Cheryl and Jilly there. We went in (got in early as we'd got tickets, pay on the door was after 9pm) and made sure we got our spots at the front.

After a few drinks and at 11pm Ches came on and was looking FINE :p His set was the usual set, only the first time that he's NOT sung Imagine. Jodie (his brother on the drums) took one look at the t-shirt and put his thumbs up and mouthed "great" to me. During one of the songs Ches came right in front of be and put his back to me...yes, it had to be done so I put my hand on his arse!! Jilly,Claire and Cheryl were in hysterics and a little bit of a shock I think that I did it. (oh, btw, Chesney's arse is better then Bryan's arse ;-p). Not only did this happen once ... it happened again only the second time wasn't intentional (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it).

He did a signing again afterwards and whilst we were in the queue Stu, Paul and Jodie went to join him. When we got there, Jodie approached me and commented about the t-shirts. We had a brief chat. Paul commented on it too and when I turned around and showed him the we'd got the walkabout dates on the back both him and Stu went into hysterics and said that it was great. Ches recognised me too and was shocked that I'd managed to get hold of the promo of Another Fine Mess. When I said that I'd got it on eBay, he asked how much I'd paid for it but I couldn't remember.

So that was the amazing night I had :)

Well, have decided NOT to get tickets for Jovi. Can't really afford them as I'd much prefer to see Aerosmith and Leppard next year. If I can get cheap tickets nearer the time then I will.

Also, I'm getting broadband ... about time I know. I'm just pissed off with complaints when people want to use the phone and also the amount of time it takes to bloody download stuff on dial up.

And to finish ... I've tried on a pair of jeans tonight that I've not worn in about 6 years and they finally fit perfectly! Worked out tonight that since I moved home 2½ years ago I've lost 3 stone (42lbs) in weight! Pretty good going I reckon. :)

Hmm ... tickets go on sale in the morning for Jovi in the UK next year .... including the ALL NEW WEMBLEY STADIUM!

The last time I saw them was in Hyde Park and I didn't enjoy them as much as I normally do for some unknown reason. I was also planning on hanging fire because of Leppard and Aerosmith rumoured to be touring in the UK next year.

Ooooh, what to do :-s By the looks of things it's gonna be about May time as they are in Dublin on May 20th.

...about time I know! Been so tied up with J related stuff that I don't feel to have had time to update things on me. So here it is, all about time I know!

Joined Weight Watchers on Wednesday. Prft, was about 4lb heavier then expected AND my goal weight is alot lower then I want it to be (the goal on my ticker is 7lb heavier then the one given). So far I've not entirely been good :-s Yesterday I was fine, but Thursday I ate out at night and today I left the house without brekkie so ate the wrong stuff all day.

Thursday night I decided to go out with the people from work. We went to Skipton and ate at the Weatherspoons. Nicky drove us there and almost knocked over a cyclist (and got pulled over for speeding on the way home ... wish I'd gotten a lift home with her now! LOL). I wasn't actually going to drink, but had 1 pint of lager and a soft drink, to eat had Scampi and Chip (very slimming I know but had to be done).

Actually had a pretty interesting convo about work with Kathy on the way home. Certainly makes me wonder exactly how long I've got left in this department, well how long any of us have. Kathy was one of the ones facing redundancy like me back in April (along with Emma and Sohaib who are also in our department). I don't know, things don't exactly look promising over the next 12 months. Maybe I should think about looking again in January and focus externally rather then internally, just a shame the perks are so damned good! The fact that after next year I get an extra weeks holiday is worth staying for.

Moving on to today....

Went to Preston shopping for Em's birthday pressie. Got her the new Bon Jovi album (cooool), have actually loaded it onto my PC already and done a copy for Dawn too (cheeky I know). It's a pretty good album too. Got her birthday card, along with Mark's card for next weekend and a little something for Jim and Char (a little extra bday pressie for Char ;P)

Tomorrow I'm not sure what I'm upto. Had thought about heading onto Leeds for next months gig tickets, although I have said that I'll pick them up next week so may leave it til then (will give me something to do). Think what I will do is pop onto Kelbrook to take a few photos of the church and beck to send to Jim (wonder if mum wants a run out?? Will ask her tomorrow). Am also half tempted to go into work and download the bookings, would only be for a couple of hours and saves me being board at home (plus I need the money).

Ahh well .... think I'll head to bed soon anyways.

Yep .. feeling a little chilled out now!

Spent nearly ALL day online, basically searching for albums by The Almighty! Yep, we've booked tickets and we've never even heard an album - H E L P! Why?? 2 reasons really - first off it's for a really good cause, I think cancer/leukemia in some way has effected everyone at some point in their lives. I know it has with me (lost both my grandads to it and my dad also lost his whole leg to it when he was 10). Secondly - Ricky Warwick!! Those of you who've read my journal for a while now will know that we're (me and Dawn) both fans of Ricky's and it's looking highly unlikely that we'll see see him this side of January now. Soooo ... I signed up on the forum for The Almighty to ask for advice on which album to go for first and 2 guys recommended the same album to us. Yep, I promptly headed over to eBay to look for it. Am watching several copies as well as a few other albums of theirs.

Next job for the pair of us was hotels! The best we've found is 2 nights, B&B with en-suite at £98 total ... not bad and as it's only really a base we're not after staying at The Ritz. Dawn found that one and it looks as though we could have it all booked up tomorrow ... doubt we'll find a better deal then that one.

Transport will be the fun one. Getting there won't be that much of a problem it's getting back that'll be the fun part! Although I am thinking about booking the Thursday to Monday off work and doing the travelling then. It tend to work out slightly cheaper and I've only seen Steve for like 24hours since last May! I think he deserves to spend some time with moi :p It's my turn to write to him so will ask him in my next letter.

Have also arranged to go to Luan's in Tuesday evening. It's her birthday on the 22nd and she's off on holiday next Sunday. She's going on a coaching trip to America .. she'll be in Niagara on her birthday. They have added an extra couple of days to their break and are off to Vegas. If I remember rightly she's off to Boston on her trip ... one of the places I've wanted to go to for the past 14 years now :-s Once of these days I'll get there!!

Right ... I'm off to watch some TV for a bit!
