There's a few on here so here's a question ...
Do you find that you have major mood swings?? Especially when you least expect it and sometimes even if your sugar levels are ok.
Recently, I've found more and more that I'm getting them. I know it's not totally down to my diabetes but it's actually the same thing happening over and over again ... and it's down to my sense of humour. One minute I can be cracking jokes, or say the odd amusing comment or even have an amusing comment said to me that I usually find amusing. Then all of a sudden my sense of humour vanishes, my comments could come across as being digs or snotty and the comments that are generally said in jest I no longer find funny but offensive instead (not in a major way, but enough for me to think "up yours").
Just wondered if anyone had the same experience.

Today has been strange to say the least!! Don't really know why either, it just feels that way.
Been for a couple of walks, mainly to keep my sugar levels down. On my second walk I was listening to Ches and yet again trying not to crack up laughing when listening to Porn Again!! The lyrics are brilliant and the song as a whole isn't something you'd expect Ches to write.
This afternoon I tried my best to find my bedroom, but it still looks like a bomb site. Think I really need to go and have another go at it.
It's been a bit quiet around here lately, I know it's Thanksgiving on the other side of the pond but it's quiet in general. Hugs to those who need it and I look forward to catching up with people soon.

Lost both matches tonight ... 1-6 and 2-5. Oh well, nevermind.
Not done too good on the old sugar levels tonight either ... knew it was high tonight whilst out! It's 11.8! Though with what I ate at the cinema I'm not surprised, food wise I'm simply not looking after myself at the moment and really need to get my act together.

I wasn't actually aware until I've started to read some posts in the
diabetes community that today is Diabetes Awareness Day. So I thought I'd post my story on my own blog. I know I've covered it before, but I've also got some new people reading my journal now :)

... then happens when I least want it too!!
I've been woken up by the symptoms I used to get with my high sugar levels for the first time in MONTH (possibly even the past 12 months)! Cronic stomach and back ache (in the top of my back).
I've checked my levels and it's at 9.9 ... it's been higher then this and I've not had them!
Just taken a couple of neurofen capsules (first time I've taken those in a while too), so just hoping they kick in too!!
