Well, I've not really done a proper update since Tuesday so thought I'd do one now before heading back into work for a few hours (I must be mad).

To be honest, I've been soooo tired this week that I've not had much energy to be about online ... not properly. Only really been logged on to download stuff and only been on messenger for a few mins at a time. Was kinda hoping to spend some time online this weekend to catch up with people, but my eyes are killing me so have no idea if I'll be able to hack being in front of a screen for longer then 10 mins at a time.

This week has been totally mad at work .. in 4 days I've done 9 hours in overtime. I'm going in today to try and catch up with the emails as it's been way too busy with bookings to actually get much done at all on that front (though I was pretty much caught up on Thursday, now I'm behind again). I've spoke to Peter and he's said that I can have Leanne to help me next week. I don't mind getting the overtime in, but I really don't like the thought of going in every weekend. The reason I got out of sales was for that simple fact. Don't mind it every so often but not every week ... am simply thinking about the money (hell, if I get 10 hours a week in it's like another weeks wage!). Speaking of pay, I've still no idea what my pay rise is and I'm getting slightly anxious about this one. I SHOULD find out this next week in my January pay slip, but if it's still the same as last year then I'm gonna be saying something.

It's also kinda been like "old times" too ... I've chatted to J every night this week, which has been great. It's kinda what we need too, and it also helps him out in getting to know me a little better too. There's been some "food for thought" too (as I mentioned earlier in the week), still got that on my mind but it's kinda at the back and am trying not to think about it too much (would only drive me insane if I did). But he's doing good there, getting back into the swing of things online and also posting back in the KPG board. He said that people are really pleased to see him on there ... and I'm not surprised as he's so popular on the board and hasn't actually posted on there since the start of August.

That's about it for now I think ... just gonna get my MP3 player sorted out (I'm the only on in our dept in this afternoon) and then head in.

I actually love it .. never thought I'd say it but I do.

Oooh, and before I forget ... a question for those of you who make your own icons - what program do you use?? I want to see if I can download it from somewhere :)

Yep .. I'm now in the 21st Century and have Broadband! Got an email this morning to say it was up and running EEEK! (BTW David .. thanks again for the filters! Your a star)

Just downloaded my first song too ... Mental As Anything - Live It Up! I've been after the song for YEARS! Now all I need to do is ask Lee how the hell you save the tracks from SoulSeek to your harddrive as it's gone straight to iTunes! Hmmm......
